Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy protects the people, organizations, systems, and communities that interact with AFAI. It applies to AFAI websites, accounts, networks, forms, datasets, models, tools, collaboration spaces, and other digital services. It supplements the Terms of Service and any program-specific requirements.

You may use AFAI Services only for lawful purposes and in a way that respects the rights, safety, dignity, and privacy of others. You are responsible for your conduct, submitted content, credentials, integrations, and any activity performed through your access.

Do not use the Services to threaten, harass, stalk, exploit, discriminate against, defame, or deceive a person or group; facilitate violence or self-harm; sexualize or exploit minors; distribute nonconsensual intimate material; impersonate another person or institution; or coordinate fraud, scams, manipulation, or other abuse.

Do not introduce malware; conduct unauthorized vulnerability testing; probe or bypass access controls; interfere with availability; overwhelm infrastructure; access another user’s data or account; conceal malicious activity; or use compromised credentials. Good-faith security research requires prior written authorization and must follow any published reporting process.

Do not scrape, crawl, benchmark, download, or automate access in a way that violates displayed instructions, bypasses technical controls, degrades performance, creates unreasonable load, or interferes with another user. Written permission may be required for high-volume access, bulk collection, model training, or commercial reuse.

Do not use AFAI Services or resources to create or distribute deceptive impersonations, fraudulent content, malware, unlawful surveillance, discriminatory decision systems, or instructions intended to cause material harm. Do not represent AI-generated output as verified by AFAI or use an AFAI resource in a high-stakes setting without appropriate testing, qualified oversight, notice, and safeguards.

Do not submit personal, confidential, regulated, or proprietary information unless the Service requests it and you are authorized to provide it. Do not collect, infer, expose, or redistribute sensitive information about another person without a lawful basis and appropriate safeguards. Never submit passwords, private keys, full payment credentials, or unnecessary government identifiers through a general AFAI form.

Do not infringe copyright, trademark, publicity, privacy, database, or other rights. Do not remove notices, misstate provenance, fabricate endorsements, or imply that AFAI sponsors or approves your activity without written authorization. Follow the license attached to any open model, code, dataset, publication, or educational resource.

We may investigate suspected violations and remove content, limit functionality, suspend access, preserve relevant records, or refer matters to service providers or authorities when reasonably necessary and lawful. We consider context, severity, intent, history, and risk when selecting a response. We may act immediately where there is an urgent security, safety, or legal concern.

Report suspected abuse, security issues, or policy violations through our contact page. Include the relevant URL, date, description, and supporting information, but do not send unnecessary sensitive data or publicly disclose an unresolved security vulnerability.

We may update this Policy as AFAI Services and risks evolve. The current version and revision date will be posted here. Continued use of the Services after an update means the revised Policy applies to that use.
